A day spent on the north shore. We kicked off the day by enjoying some morning treats from our neighboring store, the Kilauea Bakery. Their delicious house-made bagels and vanilla chais fueled our bellies to start our adventure. Next we rambled down to Rock Quarry to check the waves, and catch some rays. It was an absolute gorgeous day, crystal clear blue water, and perfect long board waves reeling across the bay. We couldn’t have asked for a better day to cruise up north. Logan, our favorite Kilauea shop grom, brought his groovy Ebert Surfboards to glide and slide with. The AX squad (Nolan, Logan, Kiana) paddled out for some fun waves to share. After enjoying our session and glorious beach day cruise, we decided to head back toward Kilauea town for lunch. We ordered sushi burritos, and delicious fresh poke bowls from our favorite lunch spot, Sushi Girl. Don’t forget that yum yum sauce. So ono! It’s so nice to be located in an area with epic grinds all around. After lunch we headed across the street for an afternoon “pick me up” at Trilogy Coffee and enjoyed some cafe and laughs there. And don’t forget your immunity boost and delectable health fix at Kauai Juice Co. We were all very satisfied, and ready for the next leg of our adventure. Truck was locked and loaded, yeti cooler and all kine quality stuffs ready to go. Heading down toward Hanalei, we took a nice stroll through the old club med. We got a nice view of Namolokama, the pier and watched surfers having fun out at the bay. No complaints here, just another day to say, “Lucky We Live Hawaii”.
